A franchise, which focuses on clean foods, required a clean and open design. The Boca Raton location, which our firm was asked to design, answered that call.

(After several visits to the client’s first store to understand the workflow of the employees and the patrons we were able to design the flow of the Boca Raton location.) In order to reduce the chaos of other locations a queuing line was created to help direct patrons into the space and quickly into the queuing line. This queuing line allowed for patrons to easily read the menu and decide prior to greeting the cashier. Grab and go units were put along this path to help upsell items (a common retail theme), The kitchen was divided into to separate spaces; a front of house kitchen where smoothies, coffee, and the like are created. The back of house kitchen housed a majority of the preparation equipment including a sandwich and ACAI bowl preparation stations. A small dining counter and dining room allow patrons to quickly enjoy their meals and move them on to their day.

Cool blue walls and wood wainscoting enhance the space with a laid-back beach feeling. White glass tiles at the display kitchen coordinate well with the laid back design and still maintain a feeling of cleanliness where it is required most.
