The Everglades Architecture Group designed the Palm Beach County office for Arcadis. Arcadis is a world wide design and engineering firm focusing on sustainability solutions. Many of their projects include energy plant upgrades to make facilities more efficient and environmentally friendly.

The project included demolition of a previous opulent developers office in the coveted Renaissance Commons development and incorporation of a vacant bay neighboring the space. The interior improvement totaled at 15,000 square feet. The project program relied on an open studio concept with shared spaces for collaboration. “Elimination of fixed desks,” helped to promote interaction, eliminate office cliques and eliminated hierarchy of spaces. Private spaces were created on both ends of the space for small huddle spaces to promote specific focus.

The project required a speedy design build process. From the proposed space plan, permitting demolition and construction the project was completed and turned over in 60 days. Maintaining the project budget throughout was a priority that was easily maintained through the relationship that design/build provides.
